This class is on the Ground or the 7th floor, depending on who your teacher is. If your teacher is Professor Trelawney then you will be here on the 7th floor, if you're taught by Professor Firenze (who happens to be a Centaur), you will be in one of the classromms on The Ground Floor.

No New Posts Ravenclaw Common Room

For those with the sharpest minds. The Ravenclaw common room is a large circular room located in the west tower. Its soft carpet is a dark blue and scattered around the room are dark mahogany tables and clusters of squashy armchairs with cosy settees. A elaborate marble fireplace is always burning in its hearth casting a warming, golden glow in the commonroom. Around the room, beautiful tapestries decorate the walls, some showing the proud Ravenclaw symbol, the eagle. A wall of books surround the common area. Beautiful windows complete with bronze drapes look out onto the Quidditch Pitch.

No New Posts Owlery

The Owlery, where the school owls and the owls belonging to students live, is located on the top of West Tower. It is a circular stone room, rather cold and drafty, because none of the windows had glass in them. The floor is entirely covered in straw, owl droppings, and the regurgitated skeletons of mice and voles. Hundreds upon hundreds of owls of every breed imaginable are nestled here on perches that rise right up to the top of the tower, nearly all of them asleep, though here and there a round amber eye glares.

No New Posts Gryffindor Common Room

For those who have brave hearts. The Gryffindor Common Room is a large circular room located in the Highest Tower. Its soft carpet is a hot red and scattered around the room are red and gold Gryffindor banners, tables and clusters of squashy armchairs with cozy settees. A elaborate marble fireplace is always burning in its hearth casting a warming, golden glow in the common room. Around the room are cases filled with trophies for the House Cup and Quidditch Awards, also some awards for braver from our former pupils. A large case is filled with the Godric Gryffindor Sword and inside are different objects used in battle.

No New Posts The Room Of Requirement

"Anything you want or need this room will be what you want. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not."

A magical room which can only be discovered by someone who is in need. To find it, walk back and forth three times infront of the bit where it is. Concentrate on only what you need. Very hard now... Now open your eyes. See there we go!

No New Posts The Headmaster's Office

"Any questions or suggestions, just come here. I will handle any situation you present me and handle it in an unbiased manner."

The magical and wonderful office of Albus Dumbledore. Filled with many mystical and magic objects, including Godric Gryffindor's Sword, The Sorting Hat and portraits of all past Headmasters and Headmistresses.

The entrance to the headmaster's office at Hogwarts is behind a statue of a gargoyle on the seventh floor. When given the proper password, the gargoyle will leap aside, and the wall behind it will split in two to reveal a spiral stone staircase that moves like an escalator. Dumbledore's password for the gargoyle always seems to have been the name of a sweet, and to have been known to the various staff members though not to the student body at large. However, the office can be sealed so that none can enter save the rightful Headmaster, and also can be sealed so that someone already inside cannot leave without the Head's permission.

Once in the door, visitors ride on a spiral stone staircase that moves slowly upward as the gargoyle's entrance closes behind them. The staircase leads to a highly polished oak door with a brass knocker in the shape of a griffin. The door is not sound-proof; a visitor standing on the staircase can hear anyone speaking in the room inside, although not necessarily distinctly unless the speakers' voices are raised.
